Ian Marlow didn’t set out to become a PropTech founder. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, and his early career took him across the globe – from the United States to London to South Korea – before real estate technology ever entered the picture. That path eventually led him to The Gale Company, where he served as COO and CEO of Gale Facility Services, and later to Newmark Knight Frank, where as CEO of Newmark Global Management Services and Global CIO of Newmark he directed a portfolio exceeding 280 million square feet, supported by over 5,800 employees across more than 40 countries and in all 50 states. It was during this time that Ian began pioneering a fully vertically integrated approach to service delivery – one team, accountable for everything, instead of a patchwork of disconnected vendors each managing their own slice of the puzzle.
With FITECH Ian took that philosophy and built brought it to the intersection of technology and the brick and mortar. Today, that same idea shapes everything the company does – Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, ERP Implementation & Consulting, Accounting, Lease Administration, and Low Voltage/AV, all delivered by one team that actually understands the full scope of a client’s business, not just their own corner of it.
Ian appears regularly on NBC, CBS, and Fox News as a Cybersecurity Expert, and is also a member of The Players NYC and P1 Motor Club.
